Korea’s Launch of ATSC 3.0
Korea will soon launch regular terrestrial UHD services using the ATSC 3.0 standard, in advance of the 2018 Winter Olympics that the country will host in Pyeongchang next February. This session will report the current status of terrestrial UHD broadcasting deployment in Korea. Presentation topics are “The Status of ATSC 3.0 Broadcasting in Korea” and “R&D for Next Generation UHD TV Broadcasting Services in Korea.”
